My name is Lars Axelsson
I am a former firefighter, captain and incident commander from Sweden.
Today, I work with firefighting training all over the world.
Over the last years I have been challenging firefighters from more than 50 countries.
Teaching other firenerds is scary and humbling. It is the most brutal test of ideas and skills that I know of. Some ideas will not survive that exposure, and I will need to adapt.
But I am not my ideas. My ideas change with new experiences and data.
And that is why I call myself the Swedish Firenerd. With pride.
