This course focuses on fire dynamics, including concepts such as heat release rate, temperature, thermal energy, heat transfer, gas properties and combustion-related fundamentals.

It does not cover fire development in compartments with concepts like burn regimes, flashover, backdraft and smoke explosions. Fire behavior in compartments will be covered in a separate follow-up course.

Participants will have access throughout the course period and for an additional 3 months after the course ends.
